Transmedia Drama

Activity in collaboration with RNE’S PROGRAMME LA SALA

Transmedia drama will have a prominent place in the 38th edition of the Autumn Festival. The festival's management has selected a group of playwrights to develop pieces in different languages typical of this type of playwriting -audiovisual, graphic, textual, interactive-, which will be broadcast through different channels: social media, video conferences, websites, radio, digital platforms... This initiative is a production of the Madrid Autumn Festival with the collaboration of the programme specialised in performing arts, La Sala, on RNE. Thus, Antonio Rojano, Belén Santa-Olalla and the tandem formed by Rocío Bello and Javier Hernando will develop three native transmedia drama projects -with original content-, one of them aimed at young audiences.

The public will be able to follow the different creations openly during the festival. The information of each show details how to be part of this journey for the viewer through different interactive platforms.

Activity for children and family audiences of Laboratoria

Museo del Prado

Saturday 28, 12:00 and 18:00

Paintings can be read, interpreted, metamorphosed... Laboratoria aims to reinterpret some of the most famous images in the history of art, breaking away from the medium and the materials. Can we paint without paint? For the duration of an hour, playing with narratives and the atrezzo, the collective will unleash the creativity and the imagination of the participants in this experience. By substituting paintings with cloth, the paintings become life-size representations. What happens in a work of art? What is its reality? How can we reproduce it in real time? Paintings come to life with the participants’ actions who discover the story hidden behind every painting and thus become their protagonists.

Activity for families with children aged 5 to 9. Registration opens in October. All details regarding dates, schedules and how to apply for openings based on availability will shortly be displayed on the festival website.
